Buckeye, Arizona is now rated as the 2nd fastest growing city in the United States.  The city limits consists of 48 miles north and south, and 24 miles east to west.  There are approximately 42,000 people living in Buckeye, Arizona at this time.

The first two master planned communities were Sundance, and Verrado.  Next came Tartesso, Sun Valley, Sun City Festival and Spurlock Ranch. There are also many other small subdivisions as well.  Buckeye is expected to surpass the City of Phoenix in population in the coming years.

Buckeye, Arizona is in close proximity to Phoenix International Raceway is home of Nascar Racing twice a year.  Major League Baseball has spring training facilities in Goodyear, Arizona and Surprise, Arizona.   University of Phoenix Stadium is just a short drive away to watch the Arizona Cardinal’s football team play.   The Phoenix Coyotes play hockey at the Jobing.Com Arena in nearby Glendale, Arizona. 

Right down the road in Goodyear, Arizona a new regional mall is breaking ground.  Estrella Falls is being built by the Westcor group who have built all of the fine fashion malls in the valley.  The mall should be complete within two years and will contain all the big name brand retailers.  Nordstroms, Sears, Dillards, Pottery Barn, Macy’s, Williams-Sonoma to name a few. 

For the sports enthusiast you can go snow skiing in the winter in Flagstaff or the White Mountains which are only 3 hours away.  For water sports Lake Pleasant is only a short drive away.  You can go hiking in White Tank Mountains, or the Sonoran Desert National Monument Park.
