Joe is super gold star fantastic! He helped me and my wife find the perfect house, and made the entire process seem incredibly easy. Joe walked us through all the different parts of the home buying process before we even started looking, and was always available to show us properties that weren't open houses. Relocating from the Northeast into the valley we didn't know where to go or even where to start, but Joe found EXACTLY what we were looking for and what we both wanted. He even did a complete video tour of homes we thought we liked before we ever got to Arizona! He truly just went above and beyond. We loved how he didn't rush us into a purchase and was totally understanding when we had a mini freak out and pulled out of an offer in the middle of bidding. I remember him staying calm throughout the entire thing, and instead of focusing on other clients, he got in the car and drove us around to see other ones we might like. He is so down to earth, and we loved that he didn't act like your typical realtor. He understood what we wanted and our concerns, then instead of pushing the sale he made us make sure that this was the house we wanted. My wife called him at 2 am to ask a question and sure enough he answered. He went above and beyond for everything, I recommend him to anyone and everyone now. If I could give more than five stars, I would, because Joe is truly a phenomenal real estate agent. What most first-time buyers don't realize is that your agent can make or break your first purchase. Joe knows the area and the market and guided us through our home search. He is always within reach and answers our questions within minutes and sometimes seconds. We looked at 16 houses in 1 day! 1 day! No other realtor would even call us back, and other ones we worked with would say "we can only schedule 4-5 max" He drove us around and stopped at places on our commute to show us what we could afford and what the area has to offer. It felt like a guided tour to be honest! In addition, Joe was honest, real and uber picky. He would educate us on properties going back before the current owner, things you can't just find on Zillow, and would point out flaws we didn't even see. All in all, Joe has a lot of integrity, and was always responsive and diligent. I wouldn't recommend anyone else looking to buy real estate in Phoenix. Joe truly is the best of the best. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for Joe. We found Joe through Facebook a few months ago and after an initial interview decided to go with him.
After reviewing our budget, our income, our overall status and goal, Joe gave us a very clear target area with data from previous close by sales. We had a few initial walk through with Joe on precise details on how and what he looks at when he goes to open houses, so we can feel free to judge other houses accordingly. Every weekend, when new houses opened he would filter the ones he thought were worth looking at, and we would communicate through a group chat, which was very convenient and fast. We hope to close on a house in a couple of months with an AMAZING price thanks to Joe's negotiation and the numbers he keep crunching, and were able to secure a house in a very competitive neighborhood. Before we even put in an offer he asked if he could send us a market analysis on the area - and I thought why not. We don't know what he did but he found every house sold in the area and gave us charts and graphs about the way the neighborhood was developing and a investment score is what he called it. We were completely taken back, I didn't expect that at all, I felt like he was a financial adviser and I was this big wealthy house investor!
The realtor relationship did not end there. The new house had a few flaws that we wanted to work on remodeling right away before moving in. Joe had a lot of contractors, engineers, architects that work with him and he chose the one that he believed suited our needs the most (we are very into details and cannot tolerate slants more then 1 degrees), so he hooked us up with the contractor that he believes maybe charges a bit more, but he can guarantee will get the job done to our standards. Joe came to every meeting with our architect and contractor, reviewing the quotes with us and making sure we weren't making any bad choices that would impact future house sale value. We have not done the remodel yet, but will update this review once everything is done.
All in all working with Joe is the full package deal. From targeting area, to closing, to remodeling to even loan officers, they had a very well established connection that made everything amazingly smooth. I guarantee you in the end you will be happy with Joe because it's so worth it. We will definitely continue working with him in the future!
